About the Role
SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Field Manager, canvassers will help execute One APIA Nevada’s field programs in Clark County and Washoe County, including voter education and outreach and get-out-the-vote campaigns. Other projects and responsibilities may be added as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with a dynamic team of field canvassers, including but not limited to:
Working with Field Managers to hit daily goals and communicate any barriers or blocks to daily field program
Actively maintaining the Quality Control (QC) process
Attend all necessary training and be able to accurately apply the training to the field, including all necessary information about voter registration deadlines and how to vote via mail

QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires significant time spent outside in inclement weather.
Working knowledge of Google Mail and timekeeping system
Must have a consistent reliable mode of transportation
Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with all members of the community
Ability to work independently and in team settings
Ability to work with flexible hours/schedules
Ability to stand for 3-4 hours and occasionally carry boxes >30 pounds
Familiarity with Nevada politics or Asian and Pacific Islander community's experience in the Battle Born state is a plus, but not required
