Learn about AANHPI history in Nevada and nationwide through weekly leadership and educational events
Connect with AANHPI legislators, community leaders, and youth advocates in Nevada
Receive mentorship and gain hands-on experience in Policy Research and Advocacy, Community Organizing, Data Management, Digital and Social Media Campaigns
QUALIFICATIONS
By applying to the Fall 2025 One APIA Nevada Youth Fellowship, you agree that you can participate in the following. If you are unable to commit to ANY of the options below, you will defer your application to a future semester. 100% attendance to all dates below is mandatory for the Fellowship.
Orientation:
Expected Location: Las Vegas, NV
Sept. 1st 10AM - 1PM, (lunch and transportation, if needed, is included)
AND
Weekly Participation Expectation: (at least 15 hours)
Weekly Saturday 10AM - 1PM content session during the following dates:
> September 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th
> October 4th, 11th, and 25th
> November 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th
> December 6th
AND
At least one weekly in-office 3-hour shift with the following options available
> Mondays - Fridays: 9AM - 12PM, 12PM - 3PM, 3PM - 6PM
AND
At least 1 hour of weekly check-ins
AND
At least 8 hours participating on ongoing projects and assigned tasks in office
AND
Mid-Point Check-In: October 18, expected location: Reno, NV
AND
Celebration: December 13, expected location: Las Vegas, NV
This fellowship ends on December 13, 2025
